This learning series will explore leading organizational transition to support gender mainstreaming in your institution. Globally, change affects education and training institutions in a variety of ways, such as meeting labour market demands and gender mainstreaming processes and programs. TVET systems and institutions need to address the short- and medium-term impact of the current status of gender mainstreaming in TVET by scaling up TVET solutions and formulating responses that reflect long-term sustainability.
Niagara College has developed change management seminars that will be delivered to partners from Kenyan TVET partner institutions, supporting them to handle the changes related to gender mainstreaming. Topics that will be explored include personal awareness of change, communication/planning tools of change, change challenges and inclusion and gender equality.
The comprehensive Learning Series will inform participants from Kenyan partner institutions on:- Change management
- Handling changes related to gender mainstreaming
- Minimizing negative impacts of change on organizations and teams
- Seizing opportunities in the working and learning environment to promote gender mainstreaming
